I understand that the issues at hand are complex and that resolving them is no easy task. However, I firmly believe that peace is the only path forward. Peace not only in the Amhara region but across all of Ethiopia.
I kindly urge you to take immediate action to cease the hostilities and to engage in dialogue with all parties involved. It is crucial to remember that every individual has the right to live in peace and security.
I also urge you to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches those who need it most and that steps are taken to rebuild and rehabilitate the affected areas.
Let us remember that Ethiopia is not defined by conflict, but by its rich history, its vibrant cultures, and its resilient people. Please, work with all factions to restore peace and stability so that Ethiopia continues to be a place of prosperity and progress.
After all, you are the Nobel Peace Prize laureate of 2019, and the founder of the Prosperity Party in Ethiopia. I guess you wouldn’t like something to stain that world recognition and to hinder your vision for Ethiopia’s prosperity.
